Last year (2009) we attended the TSYC & Seafood festival.
We are holding this date (8/14) open for the 2010 Event.
WE may follow up the event with our 3rd quarter board meeting on Sunday 8/15.

Tarpon Springs August Seafood Festival

Paul Richardson has volunteered to chair this new event.
While things are still in the development stages Paul has visited the site and is meeting with the locals at the yacht club.

UPDATE: Sunnyland Members:
We have gotten several registrations for the Tarpon Springs Sea Food Festival event, and there is plenty of room for more. Please take note of the official event schedule listed below;
Friday, August 14th - boats may be set up at the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club when you arrive. Please ask for Bob Pillsbury, your Friday evening event co-chairman. The Yacht Club will be open for its members and you are welcome to dine off their menu.
Saturday August 15th - boat set up 9 - 11 AM. The Tarpon Springs Yacht Club will be selling a "Clam Bake in a Bucket" from 11 AM - 4 PM. All boat owners/guests are welcome to dine at the Yacht Club. For dinner, the Yacht Club will be serving a "Sea Food Festival" with cocktails beginning at 6PM with dinner at 7PM. Again, all boat owners/guests are welcome to purchase dinner and dine at the Yacht Club.
Sunday August 16th - Captains are on there own, no schedule planned.
